Make-up
you never need to check in the mirror
This is a quick and simple procedure which can enhance
lips, brows and eye outline. You could have a ready-to-go,
subtle flawless look that is waterproof and smudge
free. Semi-permanent make-up saves time and even money.
This type of medical tattooing is very useful for
people with sparse or fair brows or lashes. Slight
unevenness of the eyebrow and lip line can be rebalanced
and an open eyed youthful appearance can be created.
Colour washes of varying depths can be added to the
lip.

How long will it last?
The implanted colour micro pigments are based on
Iron Oxide with Glycerol, Distilled Water and Alcohol.
After 2-5 years the body begins to break the colour
down and the treatment fades. Darker pigments last
longer and sun blocking also increases life span.
Eyelash dyeing is a very simple and effective procedure,
but will only last a matter of weeks in contrast to
the semi permanent procedures.
Treatments are carried out by our Icelandic trained
nurse and aesthetic skin care therapist Lisa Kristansdottir,
who trained using the "Finnishing Touches"
technique, under strict sterile conditions.
The downside?
These procedures are notoriously uncomfortable, however
the joy of performing them in this Clinic setting,
means local anaesthetic injections or topical numbing
cream can be provided, achieving a comfortable experience.
Short lived redness and occasional bruising can occur.
Eyeliner procedures especially can cause some swelling,
which responds well to ice. The treated area can weep
for a very short time afterwards and flaking can occur
with healing. The area should settle completely within
a week.
What can go wrong?
To avoid a situation where the client is disappointed
with a result, very detailed planning will be provided.
Only when you are satisfied with drawn-on guide representations
in terms of colour and shape, will any treatment proceed.
Conditions that will mean you
can not undergo this procedure:
- pregnancy
- use of anticoagulant drugs
- bleeding disorders and some heart problems
- a history of cold sores, will necessitate the
use of antiviral medication prior to lip treatments.
Costs
Semi permanent make-up £300 per area
Eyelash dyeing £70
